VoIP services come with dozens of features. Listed below are some of the most commonly used features that are offered with our services. Many of these features can be set-up on our customer portal.

INCOMING CALLER ID - Included will all VoIP lines

CALL WAITING - If you are using your telephone line at the time, you will be notified that second call is arriving and you are given the opportunity to drop the first call, put the first call on hold or even establish a 3-way call.
    Enable Call Waiting for all calls - *56
    Disable Call Waiting for all calls - *57
    Enable Call Waiting for the next call only (when feature is otherwise disabled) - *71
    Disable Call Waiting for the next call only (when feature is otherwise enabled) - *70

VOICEMAIL - Virtual voice mailbox.
    Access from your VoIP phone - *98
    Access from any other phone - call your number and when you hear your introduction message, press * and you will be prompted to enter your password.

VOICEMAIL-TO-EMAIL - You can receive copies of your voicemail messages as a sound (WAV) file to your email box.

FAX-TO-EMAIL - If someone sends you a fax to your VoIP line, as long as you do not pick-up the phone and let the call be delivered to your voicemail box, our system will pick-up this fax and deliver it to your email. You can chose to receive faxes as TIFF or PDF files.

CONFERENCE CALLING - 3-WAY CALLING - Speak to two people at once.
    To set-up a 3-WAY call, call one person, press FLASH/HOLD button on your phone, call second person, and hit FLASH/HOLD again and 3-WAY call will begin.

CALL HOLD - While on the phone with one person, you can simply hit FLASH/HOLD button to put them on hold without disconnecting the call. Hit FLASH/HOLD again to rejoin the call.

CALL FORWARD ALL - You can call forward all your incoming calls to any other telephone number. 
    To set-up this feature, visit our VoIP Portal. Please note that if you call-forward your calls to the phone numbers that are outside of local calling area, you must include prefix 1 before the area code. Long distance charges apply to call-forward calls to remote calling area (outside of your calling area).
    You can set-up this feature from your phone as well - pick-up the line, dial *72 xxx-xxx-xxxx where "x" represents the number to which you wish to forward your calls.
    To disable this and any other call forward feature from your phone, dial *720.

CALL FORWARD BUSY - Same as above but calls are forwarded ONLY if your line is busy at the moment.
    To set-up this feature, visit our VoIP Portal. Please note that if you call-forward your calls to the phone numbers that are outside of local calling area, you must include prefix 1 before the area code. Long distance charges apply to call-forward calls to remote calling area (outside of your calling area).
    To set-up this feature from your phone, set-up call forward all as per above, then dial the code *722 to call forward only when your line is busy.
    To deactivate from your phone, dial *720

CALL FORWARD NO-ANSWER - Same as CALL FORWARD ALL, but calls are forwarded ONLY if you do not answer the call, but your line is otherwise available.
    To set-up this feature, visit our VoIP Portal. Please note that if you call-forward your calls to the phone numbers that are outside of local calling area, you must include prefix 1 before the area code. Long distance charges apply to call-forward calls to remote calling area (outside of your calling area).
    To set-up this feature from your phone, set-up call forward all as per above, then dial the code *723 to call forward only when your line is not answered.
    To deactivate from your phone, dial *720

CALL FORWARD BUSY & NO ANSWER (either of conditions must be met)
    To set-up this feature, visit our VoIP Portal. Please note that if you call-forward your calls to the phone numbers that are outside of local calling area, you must include prefix 1 before the area code. Long distance charges apply to call-forward calls to remote calling area (outside of your calling area).
    To set-up this feature from your phone, set-up call forward all as per above, then dial the code *723 to call forward only when your line is busy or it is not answered.
    To deactivate from your phone, dial *720

CALL FORWARD DURING SERVICE OUTAGE (service continuity system) - If your telephone service is down due to Internet or Power outage, we can forward your calls to another number (cell, or land line).

Note: When setting up call forward features, you can select the number of rings after which call is going to be forwarded to the new line. Make sure that this number of rings is smaller than number of rings for VOICEMAIL feature.

DO NOT DISTURB - Forward all calls to VOICEMAIL immediately (phone will not ring).
    To set-up this feature, visit our online VoIP portal or use star codes.
    *78 - Enable DO NOT DISTURB feature
    *79 - Disable DO NOT DISTURB feature

CALL RETURN - Automatically dial the last number that called your line.
    Dial *69

CALLER ID BLOCK - ALL CALLS - Hide your caller ID information (name and number) for all your outgoing calls.
    Dial *67 to enable this feature (outgoing caller ID will be blocked)
    Dial *68 to disable this feature

CALLER ID BLOCK - NEXT CALL ONLY - Hide your caller ID information (name and number) for the next call you make ONLY. Caller ID will be automatically reactivated after your first outgoing call.
    Dial *81 to enable this feature (your caller ID will be blocked for the next call)
    Dial *82 to disable this feature

REPEAT/AUTOMATIC DIALING - If the line you are calling is busy, you can request that our system notifies you when the line is no longer busy.
    After you receive busy signal, hang up, then pick-up your phone, dial *66 and hang up again. Your phone will ring when the line you are calling is no longer busy and your call will be automatically connected. To stop the request, dial *86.

SHORT NUMBER DIALING - If you are calling the phone number in the same area code (for example, if your phone number is in the 519 area code and you are calling another LOCAL 519 number), you do not have to dial the entire 10 digit number - you can just dial 7 digit phone number.

RESTRICT LONG DISTANCE CALLS - You can disable all long distance calls on your phone line.
    To restrict long distance calls, visit our online VoIP portal.

RESTRICT INTERNATIONAL CALLS - Same as above, for International calls.

LIMIT LONG DISTANCE AND INTERNATIONAL CALLING MONTHLY SPENDING - To protect yourself from unauthorized or excessive spending on Long Distance and International calls, you can set-up total monthly spending limit on your long distance calls from the 4 different limit options. By default, this limit is set-up at $100 per month. To increase this limit, small security deposit may be required in some cases. To change your limit, please call our office at 519.250.5031 or 611 from your VoIP phone.

PRIORITY SUPPORT LINE - To reach our support line from your VoIP phone, simply dial 611.

ONLINE CALL REPORTING
 - To see the list of all your calls, visit our online VoIP portal.

SMARTPHONE/TABLET APP - Make and receive calls on your computer - simply download our free app on your iPhone, Android or Blackberry smartphone or tablet. Your phone calls can ring both at your main location (home/office) and your computer even if they are not in the same location. IMPORTANT: If you are not connected to a free WiFi connection, you will be using your cellular phone data plan to make and receive these calls. Check your data plan before using this app.

DISTINCTIVE RING - You can add second line to your existing VoIP line that is delivered to the same phone set(s). If you have two lines, each line would have its own distinctive ring to allow you to recognize which number was called.

BLOCK LAST CALLER - If you receive call from an unwanted caller, you can block all calls from that number. Immediately after receiving a call from unwanted number, dial *60. To delete your unwanted number from the blocked list, dial *80.

BLOCK ALL ANONYMOUS CALLS- If you do not wish to receive calls from the number that have CALLER ID disabled, dial *77. To disable this feature, dial *87.

RING COUNT - You can set-up number of rings for incoming calls (as well as call forward feature) online at our VoIP Portal.

TOLL-FREE NUMBER - For $9.95 per month + tax, you can add a Toll-Free number to your phone number which will allow outside callers to call you toll-free from US & Canada. You are responsible for any long distance charges (4.9 cents per minute, 100 minutes included). Call our office to order.

REMOTE EXCHANGE NUMBER - For $9.95 per month + tax, you can add additional phone numbers from many exchanges across Canada and the US. For example, you could have a Windsor line with additional Detroit telephone number. This will allow anyone from the remote exchange to call you free of charge. However, depending on your VoIP plan, you may be charged long distance fee for any calls originating outside of your main number exchange as well as outgoing calls outside of your exchange.
